Amber – The Caribbean Approach { 1 }
I recently had the honor of writing the feature article for the fall/winter 2009 issue of the magazine InColor, published by the International Colored Gemstone Association. I had to dig deep into my knowledge of amber (of what little there is) and it’s history as relevant to the Caribbean, as well as do some very in-depth research. I also supplied several high-quality images for the article.

Thank you, Alex, for your excellent article on Dominican blue amber. I do hope that you have seen increased interest in this very special and rare material since its publication. The photos were superb! The ICA is blessed to have AmbarAzul as a member now!
